Payments to Farmers - Ministry of Agriculture
The Portuguese Ministry of Agriculture confirmed that it will comply with the payments to farmers scheduled until 31 December, after proceeding - on 10 November - with the late payment of the Integrated Production measure, initially scheduled for the end of October, thus ending the package planned for this month.
Through a communiqué released by the Ministry of Agriculture, it confirmed the payment on 10 November of measure M7.2 Integrated Production, in the amount of 22.8 million euros, thus ending the payment package foreseen for October.
Until December 31, more than 380 million euros will be paid to Portuguese farmers in the scope of Direct Aid and Rural Development.
